Attendance policy & Cancellation due to weather
Muncie Ballet will close when Muncie Community Schools are closed due to weather - If Muncie
Community Schools dismiss early due to weather - we will also close. If evening activities for
Muncie Community Schools are cancelled due to weather - we will also cancel class. For
Saturday classes please look to the website for an announcement or call 765-216-5472
There are no refunds for classes cancelled due to weather. However, make up classes can be
used anytime during the dance season.
Always check in when you arrive at the studio. Your good attendance will be rewarded with
increased skill and at Awards night!
Dancers should arrive 15 minutes early to prepare themselves for dance.
After class, Students waiting for rides must wait in the building.
Due to risk of injury, dancers in pre-pointe and pointe programs will be allowed only a
limited number of absences before being excused form the pointe program.
Illness & Absence
* Please keep a child with any fever or illness within 24 hours home.
* Please email or call if your dancer will not be attending class. (765-216-5472)
* Students may attend other classes offered to make up a missed class.
